Afghan Progress

Here is the progress on the afghan I’m working on. This panel will be about 60” long when it is finished and I am presently at about 30”, so I am ½ way through this first of 6 panels. I have listed two photos, one of the front and one of the back. There are some in my house that believe the back should be the front and the front should be the back and we are split down the middle 3/3 so I thought I would ask you what you think. I am not going tell you which is the front or the back, I just want you to tell me which view you like the best, view one (upper right) or view two (lower left). After I have a few replies I’ll let you know what the pattern says is the front and back.

I suspect that view one is the pattern's right side. I think I saw a similar texture in one of the Stitionary books.

I like both sides; each has its own beauty. If it were my afghan, I would choose seaming and finishing techniques that would make it as reversible as possible, then I wouldn't have to declare a 'right' side.

Looks beautiful! Glad to see you still have a little time for knitting. That will be a gorgeous afghan when it's done. I need to make one for our living room, but first need to decide on a pattern.
